Il nuovo Convertitore Mc-11 permette di utilizzare gli obiettivi Sigma con innesto SA e Sigma con innesto EOS con i corpi macchina Sony innesto E. Il Convertitore Mc-11 possiede tutta la digitalizzazione necessaria ad un veloce e progressivo AF, ad una stabilizzazione OS e ad altre funzioni della fotocamera che aiutano nel controllo della luminosità periferica, della correzione dell’aberrazione cromatica traversa, dalla distorsione e a parecchio altro. Inoltre, il Convertitore Mc-11 rende gli obiettivi intercambiabili Sigma SA e Sigma per Canon totalmente compatibili con gli automatismi di esposizione delle fotocamere Sony con innesto E. Usati con un corpo macchina compatibile con Fast Hybrid AF, la modalità Af-S funziona in modo veloce e progressivo. Con altri corpi macchina la lettura AF a contrasto offre un’altissima precisione Lo spia LED del Convertitore Mc-11 informa con facilità se l’obiettivo inserito è compatibile oppure no e se è necessario fare un aggiornamento del firmware Il Convertitore Mc-11 incorpora tutti i dati necessari a ciascun obiettivo compatibile e utilizza un programma di controllo dedicato per ottimizzare il funzionamento del motore AF, del diaframma e altre funzioni di ciascun obiettivo compatibile. Tali dati sono compatibili anche con le funzioni della fotocamera preposte al controllo della luminosità periferica, alla correzione dell’aberrazione cromatica trasversale, alla distorsione e altro. La compatibilità del Convertitore Mc-11 con il sistema di stabilizzazione OS di obiettivo e fotocamera permette una migliore correzione dei piccoli movimenti accidentali della fotocamera. Usato con un corpo macchina dotato di stabilizzazione OS, il Convertitore Mc-11 utilizza la stabilizzazione diagonale dell’obiettivo per migliorare il risultato.
